I purchased the worst fridge ever!!!!!
I purchased the worst fridge ever!!!!!! I bought the double door stainless steel Frigidaire fridge from Lowes. I also purchased the 5 yr warranty. Within the first 9 mos. the right Interior side of the fridge cracked. They refused to replace the fridge and repaired it by placing an ugly tape on the side of the fridge. Since then, any food that sits near the back part of the fridge freezes completely. I’ve lost eggs, My vegetables become mush and other foods are ruined. The ice maker shoots out ice every time you use and it gets all over my kitchen floor leaving wet spots that I step into if not cleaned properly. The shelves are flimsy and crack easily. I have lost one out of the three shelves in my freezer. The most important one, the middle, in which, they claim they cannot fix. So therefore, I barely can use the space in my freezer. The warranty company gives you the run around and is difficult to deal with. I will NEVER purchase any appliance again from Lowes or Frigidaire!!!!!!! What a waste of money!!!!

Purchased new Frigidaire oven GEW3069 10/11/20; several days later I purchased from Amazon the Air Fryer. Frigidaire never answers their phones! The Air Fryer is supplied with a tray which is 3/8" wider than the oven!! It simply does not fit!
Air Fryer does cause unusual spatter due to the high temps. I used the steam cleaner and found that to be useless.. I therefore proceeded to utilize the clean option and followed each step completely like removing all shelves etc. etc. After the cleaning I found that the shelves would no longer fit; now one expects an oven the expand due to high temps but to contract is not physics logical!! Now the shelves simply do not fit within the oven!! Customer service. to Frigidaire is just a word that means NOTHING!!!

Multiple failed ice makers

I purchased a small Frigidaire refrigerator with the ice maker add on in 2013. The ice maker failed after 2 years so I bought a replacement. The second one failed after about 2 more years. The one I have now just started leaking water into the ice bin which creates a solid block of ice. When I called the company (which was no easy task) they told me it was out of warranty and they couldn't help. Really? THREE of them? POOR customer service! They should stand behind their products or remove them from the market.

Bought a frigidaire set all fridge/all…

Bought a frigidaire set all fridge/all freezer 18m ago for a custom kitchen. They are complete junk. Warranty is a complete joke we’ve been without a fridge for 9 weeks with a family of 5 in a pandemic. Frigidaire will not answer phones. The company has discontinued the model which is clearly defective- now that we have read the overwhelming negative reviews. The updated model is a different size than the existing all freezer....forcing us to purchase a complete new set and having to spend thousands remodelling a brand new kitchen to accommodate different specs of appliances. Would give 0/5 if I could.

I purchased side by side Frigidaire…

I purchased side by side Frigidaire refrigirator, and not even 2 months later, it stopped making ice. I called Frigidaire so many times, that I gave up calling. I emailed them maybe 50 times, but they never responded. Finally, today, almost six months after the issue began, I got in touch with them. The CSR, Nicole, was rude, raising her voice, very unprofessional. She told me I need to change the filter, which I already did, but that wasn't good enough for her, she start yelling at me that I need to change it again. I mean, what?! I asked if I can speak with a supervisor, and she hung up on me. This is unreal! I would give them 0/5 if that was an option.

We had not one Refrigerator from Frigidaire but 2... After one month the food was freezing in the Refrigerator section. After 15 Service calls - $200 of ruined food, 60 Days and over 40 Hours of trying to get a hold of Tech support they finally decided to replace the 1st one. I got the first one Brand new in the box on clearance. After a Corporate manager emailed me and said they would give me replacement cost on a new one to replace it, they LIED and only gave me clearance cost minus taxes. I had to spend $1800.00 more to get the same value Refrigerator that I had before. After receiving the new $3200.00 Refrigerator, a different model, it was good for 3 weeks until the ice maker defrosted and water was all over our kitchen. Then the Freezer alarm went off 3 days later and said the freezer was not at the right temperature but was keeping the food frozen. After the service tech was out and had to order 7 parts we had to to wait. They said a couple of weeks. 2 days after the service man was out I went to check the freezer and all the food was totally defrosted and ruined. $400 worth. I called Frigidaire and they said the parts were being rushed. Let us not forget we were listening to the freezer alarm 24 hours a day 7 days a week for 1 month. The service man came out and replaced the parts and told us this was happening to a lot of the Frigidaire refrigerators. We looked online and sure enough it was reported by many customers of the same problems. 12 hours after the repair the food in the refrigerator was getting warm and the freezer still was not functioning. I called Frigidaire and told them this was unacceptable. This time I wanted a complete refund. They told me the request would be submitted. After 3 weeks and another 30 hours of phone calls, they refunded my money again without the taxes. So I have lost over $1200 in lost food and taxes, Not counting lost wages to take time off to be here for the service calls.

Frigidaire has no customer service.

I purchased a 20 cu ft freezer and within a couple of months it started making a terrible noise, sounded like a fan hitting against something. After a couple of days it stopped cooling. All while I reached out to their customer service, actually it is more like lack of customer service, and waited over a week for the repair person to show up or call. After my third call to Frigidaire, I called the selling dealer. They did manage to get the repair person out within a week. The repair person, only one in the area has a terrible rating on BBB and he certainly lived up to it. Got here and had to order a part as the freezer had a known factory defect that should have been repaired before leaving the factory. After a couple of weeks of not hearing anything I contacted the selling dealer again and they got the repair person out to install the part. After he left we noticed the light was now not working. So called that in and as before no call and no one showed up. To the dealer again and was told the repair person just got the part and would be in touch to install. Subsequent call from the owner of the selling dealer called and said i would hear back from him with 4 days, that was three weeks ago. After two weeks I filed a complaint with the State of Florida consumer affairs. Now Frigidaire says the repair person just got the part and would be in touch. Note i was told a month ago the repair person had the needed part. Oh, in the mean time the fan it back to making a terrible noise. At this point it appears no one is willing to honor the warranty nor refund my purchase since i received a defective product. This says a lot about this Electrolux company.

Terrible products, warranty is a joke!

I wish I could give this company a zero. Terrible warranty service. Their products are very cheaply made. My product is supposed to be new and all the control knob for my gas cooker broke within 2months of buying them new. Getting warranty dept on phone is a nightmare, until now, no one can help me. They never answer the phone and few occasions when they do, they keep transferring you and ask you to call the same number you called. Be prepared to spend hours on the phone without a resolution or fix. What a shame!!

Getting your warranty honored is a huge…

Getting your warranty honored is a huge pain as there is no online service scheduling and a convoluted call center experience that ends up wasting 40 minutes of your time before you find out you're missing 1 of about 20 data points just to register the product.

Frigidaire warranty service is the worst ever

4 months ago Frigidaire told me my 11 month old fridge was not repairable and a replacement would be provided under warranty. I'm still waiting for it. I've called 7-8 times and get the same story, they will find out why it hasn't been resolved yet. Then nothing happens and I have to call back and get the same BS all over again. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced, and it's not over yet.

Awful products

I did not realize that Frigidaire was such an awful company with awful quality appliances. I got a washer/dryer in December 2020 and it has only worked 2 times. It's is April 2021 and they have tried 4 times and can't fix it and I am still fighting with them. I just cancel 10 pieces of appliances that was to be delivered to me tomorrow. No more Frigidaire for me.

Do not buy Frigidaire products

Do not buy Frigidaire products. Even though your appliance is under warranty it can take months to get repaired. They do not have qualified repairmen and they do not carry necessary parts. My refrigerator hasn't worked now for a month. Repairman has worked on it 3 times and has yet to get it working.

The internal glass imploded and shattered after second use!

This new oven came with the house that I recently purchased. The appliance is brand new (Model: FFGF3054TSE - Serial No: VF03563776). The explosion happened during the second use as I was baking dinner at a temperature of 425. I was not hurt fortunately. Both Frigidaire and their independent contractor to fix this had no sense of urgency in rectifying this dangerous and damaging issue. At the moment, I am unsure of the timeline on the replacement order, delivery, and resolution- after finally receiving the date for someone to come out to assess the damage first. Upon requesting expedited service, I received no further help that made me wonder if this type of explosion is common occurrence with this line of product within this brand, and if the service members are desensitized to the issue because of it. Overall, not impressed by the product or their problem handling.
